Before I forget how to write a blog post, let me write a blog post. I had intended to sit down and write for an hour or more, but that feels overwhelming when there is so much life content to draw from after an almost three-month break from the blog.

Life is such a mixed grill, as Anne Lamott would say. I love the sun, but I hate the wind. It seems they are married these days.

Since the girls are still quarantining (through tomorrow), my blogging time today was used for schooling the girls. That means all I can do is a tiny book post, but I’m thankful for this tiny window of time.

My friend Sarah gave me this journal a while back. The idea is to write down things that are happening so you can go back and see what your life was like in any particular season.
