Question 7 (Grammatically correct version): Of what do you keep lists?

I saw five deer on my run this morning so when I got home, I wrote it down. I also wrote down my running splits from this morning. Earlier in the week, I marked in my planner that I went to Tandem with which friend (Natalie) and what I ate (Dark Chocolate Banana Waffle). I hope tomorrow to write down that I skied.

Question 5: Are you a “song“ lover or a “music” lover?

This question was a recent “Know Yourself Better” question from Episode 337 of Happier with Gretchen Rubin, the one podcast I (sort of) listen to. I’m behind on the podcast lately and I know why. It’s because I prefer quiet to noise of any kind. But I liked this “Know Yourself Better” question because it helped me see I can be a song lover even if I’m not a music lover.

Question 4: What did you and your family do this past week?

I always, always find the minutiae of my friends’ lives extremely interesting. I really DO want to know what you ate, where you went, what you bought, what you watched, and what you read. Question 3: You said in your first “Questions” blog post that this was the summer of reading novels. So what novels have you read this summer?

I rarely read fiction so it has been a different reading summer for me. I haven’t read a ton but I have read consistently.

Question 2: What did you plant in your garden this summer and how did it do?

I am proud of my garden efforts this summer. TJ and the girls planted the garden, and TJ watered it with the sprinkler each morning. But I weeded like a madwoman for those crucial first couple of months after planting. I was so committed to weeding every two to three days, and it felt good to be faithful.
