Already I have made 13 recipes from my one Julia Turshen cookbook. And there are still a few more cookbooks of hers to look forward to! But I don’t want to buy another one until I’m done making all the recipes that appeal to me in Simply Julia.

I have another recipe to tell you about, and though I’ve been making it for years, I took a long hiatus from this meal and only recently brought it back. It has quickly become another of Cash’s Top Five Favorite Meals.
I decided to post some new recipes for meals that our family has been enjoying in recent months. I also want to clean up some earlier recipe posts and tag them all properly so that anyone (meaning Mimi) who wants an idea for what to make for dinner can easily see what I like to make.

There’s a Mexican Quinoa recipe I used to make for a number of years but my family grew tired and more tired of it as the years went by. So I gave it up a while back.
